The next generation Soil Conductivity probe the SC520 is available for immediate purchase. The SC520 Soil Conductivity probe is born from applying lessons learned during redesign of MIP and HPT probes resulting in a more robust and longer lasting probe.

A few of the improvements you can expect are:

• Increased probe life
• Improved probe sealing
• Utilizes proven water seal design
• Improved strain relief on EC probe cord
• Utilizes standard Direct Image Connection Tube (P/N 31641) and Drive Head (P/N 20712)

All existing EC System parts can be utilized with the new probe with the exception of the EC Connecting Rod (P/N 23362). See the SC520 Tools Ordering page for a diagram of parts needed to adapt the SC520 to 1.5 inch Geoprobe Rods.
