Production of the MP4510 MIP probe has been halted, once current inventories are depleted the MP4510 will no longer be available for purchase. MIP service providers utilizing the MP4510 will need to upgrade their systems to use the new MP6520 MIP Probe.

The MP6520 MIP Probe has proven to be the most durable MIP probe Geoprobe®-DI has ever produced. Clients continue to praise the reliability and longevity of the MP6520. The MP6520 reduces the cost of running MIP in two ways; first, the probes longer overall reducing time lost to troubleshooting and changing out probes in the field and second, when a probe does fail it can be sent in for rebuild at approximately half the cost of a new probe. Upgrades required to run MP6520 MIP Probes:

• MIP controller (MP3500 series controllers provide 50 VAC on the heater circuit, MP6520 heaters require 120 VAC)
• Rods (MP6520 requires 1.5 in probe rods)
• Drive Head
• Trunkline Seal and Spacer
• Connection Tube
• 1.5 Drive Cap and Pull Cap
